I just brought home a 1990 20 footer with a 4.3 powering a Cobra drive. On our maiden voyage the engine RPMs began to increase while SOG decreased and eventually we fell off step. No wierd noises or vibrations. It idles fine. Shifting does feel stiff. It does not chatter shifting into gear...
