I had some repairs done on a Johnson 225 (1990) and the shop welded some ports closed. (see picture) Question - what do these holes do and is this problem? Motor seems much louder now!
I have a Johnson 225 vintage approx. 1989 - 1990 I think. Have tried to find numbers but no luck. I need a steering arm (or swivel bracket) but cannot seem to match any on E-Bay and other sites. Any help appreciated - will try to post pictues.
