    1970 merc 110 more power?

    I've got a 1970 mercury 110 with the thunderbolt ignition. i am curios to know if its possible to make this engine turn out a little more power through carb tuning or timing or something like that. or even if just a thorough tune up will pep up the engine. any advice is good :) thanks!

    1970 merury 9.8 control box

    i have a 1970 mercury 9.8 with the tiller handle and i would like to put on a control box so i can control it more easily (im using it on a mini-max/sea flea boat). so my question is, what kind of controls i should get and where can i get them? im planning on just running a rope and pulley...
