garmin echo 500c verse 550c

i have compared to the two on garmins web site. question is is there enough difference between the two to justify the 100 dollar difference to get the 550c over the 500c

new fishfinder for trolling motor

looking to put one on my tm. from what i read a dsi unit would not work since it has to be moving at 8 mph to function properly..is that correct?

changing from oil injection to standard fuel pump

i got a 2000 johnson 60hp i want to change from oil injection to standard fuel pump..do i need to change the vacum fitting on the block from a pulsator to a standard free flowing one?..thanx
