    mercury pre load gear box

    hi can any one help ? i have a 1994 mercury 150 v6 outboard. gearbox was damaged and i bought another v6 gear box. when it was delivered it had a pre load pin on the top of the drive shaft which my original gear box did not have. can anyone tell me will this gear box fit ? thanks
