    MC-1 Transom plate. Help!

    I have a boat with an MC-1 drive on it. The rear motor mounts on the transom plate of the MC-1 are 15" apart (1978). I have an engine with a post 1983 flywheel housing on it and the motor mounts are 9.5" apart. My problem is the flywheel itself.... the newer flywheels are 14" and the old ones...

    MR drive bell housing engine mounts

    I currently have a project going where I am putting an engine with V8 flywheel and bell housing bolt pattern in place of a 3.0 L engine.
