    Gas / oil pump maintenance for a 90 hp Evinrude VRO

    Can anyone tell me if I should replace the gas oil pump in my motor (1989 evinrude 90 hp) even if I have not had any problems with it? and Has anyone bypassed the unit (oil/gas pump) and just gone with a 50-1 mix with any success?
