just bought this as a project.... not really in bad shape. will be used on small lakes in arizona (10 hp engine limit). anybody have one like it? it looks like the people capacity is rated pretty high. any imput? mike
I don't feel any thing different when I shift from drive to neutral? Am I supposed to? (the prop still turns over).... I saw there is a "post" about a 7.5 Ted Williams with a similar Oust. I 've just purchased this motor.... it's not been in the water till I do some boat repairs.Thanks, Mike
Bought a old boat & motor..... (Both have been sitting for years)... The motor has good compression... very clean... I can't get it to go into neutral(prop does'nt disengage when you shift the lever to neutral).... Any ideas as to whats wrong or maybe ......???? The boat is a 1964 Lone Star 14'...
