E8RLCIC outboard would not move my boat in reverse gear--forward gear worked fine. I replaced the broken housing assembly bushing in the gearcase plus two shaft seals. Now reverse gear runs fine but forward gear bounces as throttle speed is increased--all teeth are ok on gears.
