    I bought a fuel pump setup from an 83 model 150 evinrude & I have an 84 model, the only difference from what I can tell is the 83 doesn't use a vaccum solenoid and my 84 does. There would not be a hose to go from the top pump to the port on the vacuum solenoid, would that be a problem...

    I have a 84 evinrude 150 that has a small nipple below the starter behind the vro that looks like it's on the block..Well mine has a hose on it w/a zip tie but the hose is cut on the end and pops & shoots out a spark when running??? can anybody help w/this , maybe tell me where it goes if it...
