    49-50 QD-11 High speed

    Hello! My QD-11 runs great...except that I can't get it to run fast enough. Haven't used a Tach, but I am guessing 2000 RPM top speed. How do I get the old girl up around 4000 like it should be? Note, this is in pretty much original condition, still running pressure tank. Any help/hints...

    Pressure Tank?

    Hello! I just purchased a 1950 Johnson QD-11 motor that seems in decent shape... It came with two tanks (see pics). Is this a pressure tank? I don't think so, so what kind of tank is it? The motor does not appear to have been converted to fuel pump. Help!
