im looking at repowering my 4.7m fibreglass half cabin with a yamaha 70 hp 2 stroke my 2010 model
has anyone had any issues with this motor or simillar models?
is there any thing i should watch for in this motor ?

i have a 55 hp evinrude 1976
it looks like the grommet at the top of the water tube is stuffed i cant get power head off to change it.
no water is comming out of the leg when stat is in when i remove stat i get flow out the leg
can i run the motor with out stat as i think some water flow is...
