35hp force 1988 To make a long story short i did a compression test 90-30 so I pulled head to have i look cylinder walls are worn with grooves pistions look ok, just wondering if this is worth the effort to pull apart and take to a machine shop
I have a 35hp 1988 force model 357y8b ,I was going to replace the stator and ignition coils ,most sites I have looked at say not availible at this time, is there after market stuff availible for this engine?
I have 1988 35hp force model 357y8b us marine I disconnected the yellow and blue wires (pin connector )going to the stator and found dead short to ground on the blue wire the motor craped out on me at full speed is the stator toast. appreciate any comments thanks
I have a 35hp 1988 force with 2 green/yellow wires going to the rectifier that measures 1.0 ohms, and a blue and yellow wire with a pin connection that measures approx. 2000 ohms when i rotate the flywheel by hand it changes to about 500-600 ohms just wondering if i am testing this right any...
