    My manual tilt is leaking and doesn't work, 1999 Mercury Mariner 45 Jet. Parts search is showing total replacement for around $750. How about a conversion to power trim? Not on the the kits but actual Mercury Trim. Anyone with any experience in this switch? Still using it in this condition...

    1999 Mercury 45 jet lower swing pivot

    I have a 1999 Mercury Mariner 45 Jet with slop in the lower swing pivot. I have tightened the two bolts with rubber compression fitting on the lower unit. Is there a bearing or bushing in the swing pivot. I just got a Clymer manual and it does not show any reference to repair or replacement...
