    where is the water discharge on a 5hp angler

    65 evinrude angler just got it. starts fine, have lower end about 2in above propeller in water. A small amount of water comes out of the exhaust holes, (not in water). Where is the discharge and how much should i have it submerged? don't want to smoke the engine.

    evinrude 5hp angler water discharge

    I have a 5hp angler , to test the water pump how deep do you have to submerge it in water & where will the water exit. I see a group of 8 small holes about 1/2 way up from the prop. What are these holes for? Thanks, New owner

    9.9 pull start seams jammed

    I have a 9.9 and was in storage for a few years. When I try to pull the pull start it seams jammed. I put oil in plugs and still won't move .Is there something that will lock the engine to keep it from turning over? Help
