    Envirude 30hp tell-tale mist

    I have a 30HP Rude (early '90s) that when running in a tub, with water 2" above the cavitation plate, does not have a water stream out of the tell-tail. All that comes out is a small mist of water. When I use muffs I get a steady "pee stream". I replaced the impeller and the key is in place...

    lower unit removal - Evinrude 30hp

    I have a 30 HP Evinrude (1990?) that I have removed the 4 screws and front nut from the lower unit and it slides down 1/4". I am missing the drive shaft removal step (and can't find that detail in my clymer manual).
