I recently replaced the engine on a newly aquired boat, I bought the long block through a local business. It is rebuilt and runs well enough when started. The issue is when I turn it over. It makes a very loud noise, very similar to what it sounds like when you try and start a running engine...
I will be checking out two '96 Ocean Runner 200's this afternoon and was wondering what a healthy compression number would be on these engines. I know uniformity is critical, but I'm wondering what spec would be so I have an idea of the health of these engines. Thanks for any input.
