    engine or outdrive noise

    I just installed my rebuilt outdrive [ mercruiser SE drive ] on to a chevy 350.     chevy 350 engine crank play

    I have an 350 chevy engine that i was told runs great but seems to have alot of crank play. Does anyone know how much the crank pulley should move in and out. Would a 1/8" to 1/4" sound ok.
