    tilt cylinder disassembly

    I fallowed the instructions in my selco manuel on disasembling the tilt cylinder but it doesnt say how to get the piston not attached to the tim rod out of my type "B" cylinder. Now im not sure there is even anything in there not attached to the rod. Suggestions please?

    tilt and trim removal

    can someone please tell me how to get the tilt pin out of the end of the shaft that holds it to the motor. It has a slit on the one end like a flat head screwdriver but i cant get it to spin and there are no retaining clips.

    I have an old evenrude 10 horse and i got it running but when i took out the spark plugs the next day water drained out of the bottome cylinder. how did it get there? I was thinking head gasket but i just wanted some feedback.

    motor keeps stalling

    I have an 80 horse merc and im having a hard time getting it to run right. It starts fine but i have to let it idle for 10 min before i can attempt to shift it and go or itll die or run very sluggish. any comments on what the problem might be would be great.
