where did you get the tanks from? if they were rigged for a different brand of outboard the fuel line may not fit that tank connector

    z200txrc wont run

Key switch would be the 1st thing I would be checking. Something is getting power in start position, but not in run position. But it never hurts to monitor fuel rail pressure, spark, and injector firing to see what is missing to narrow down what to be looking for.

Finding model # on my Yamaha

from what I have read and seen it is not a metal stamp, it is a round sticker with a serial number for your motor. you can use that to get the model on Yamahas site

    To low idle speed

ECUs can be damaged by a stuck IAC also, the ecu keeps trying to adjust the idle and overheats the internal ecu circuit. you can try to get them to help, but I would not expect them to

    Identifying a 75hp 2stroke (i think) 2005 with missing model number (and it won't start )

I would think it would work just fine, but who am I to say. any 12 volt start relay/ solenoid that can carry high current should work. maybe someone put something in there that was not original, so the numbers do not match up.

    '98 115 Yamaha runs hot if over 4,000 RPM's

inspect the plugs to see if any cylinder is running different than the others. as said if you did not find any parts of the impellor missing to plug up cooling passages, I would drop the lower unit and run some Rydlyme marine descaler thru the motor for a couple of hours to see if that helps.

    2002 Suzuki df70 overheating

yes pieces of the impellor can plug up passages, causing over heat. you can try dropping the lower unit and pulling the stat out and hooking a water hose directly to the pipe up to the power head and injecting compressed air into that also as you try flushing things out. but you may have to...

    Yamaha sluggish acceleration

wild guess is eithr the fuel pump leaking fuel into crankcase or pilot jet/passages . take the carbs apart and pump to see if there is a problem you can see

Yamaha 90 2 Stroke No Spark

re reading yu posts, all I can think of is you have a bad connection somewhere or a short to ground on the kill wire, kill switch or key switch. there are no 2010 2 strokes here ,so not much we can look at seems you moved something around that caused the spark to show back up. I would be...

    Lower unit leak

the drain a vent screws have gaskets that should be replaced. and then retighten the screws after running the motor on the water just to be sure they are still tight. the gaskets crush down and will leak some times after putting new ones on.
