    Trim issues

Once it is trimmed up and stops........ release the up switch and try it again. Sometimes that is the only way to get an outdrive into the trailer position.

    Trailering clips?

They are safety protection. NO ONE knows when and if a drive will fall from a hydraulic leak but without a safety it could cost more $$$. It's strictly your choice.

    Marina's

Welcome to iboats! My best suggestion on "What should I look for?" would be a telephone and start calling around. Websites and Facebook do not necessarily get updated and I consider that a plus because they are keeping overhead down and concentrating on their customers. Yep, this is the...

    Bike tires

I think your tires are 2020 too........ I tend to inspect the tires regardless of the year just to make sure they are safe and not weather cracked or worn. I have 2 bikes in the garage (both somewhat high performance) and I am a stickler on tires and wear. I think you will be fine...

    Residual Heat during this "lockdown"

Yes, I have run backhoes........... I chained up the rear loaded wheels on the JD because sliding is not fun. If I ever really need too I, can chain the front wheels too. On a positive note the front tires are brand new and it's 4wd. When I was a road commissioner I used to chain one front...

    Residual Heat during this "lockdown"

Yup this recent "noreaster" had the correct pattern however, we were fortunate to be on the edge of it. Did not get the snow that NJ, PA, CT and NY got ......... I feel like it was about time we got the least snow. No I do not leave the JD plugged in with the block heater since it only takes...

    Residual Heat during this "lockdown"

My lovely wife has been working from home which means the thermostat in the house is kept higher during the day. I have a set-back electronic model and have been using the over-ride and more woodstove fires too. More wood and oil consumption during this lockdown. My garage usually gets heat...

Concrete Garage Floor, Epoxy over radiant heated floor

Personally I sincerely think this is a spring/summer project. I understand exactly your situation. My suggestion is to visit a car dealership and find out if they have epoxy or coated floors and ask who is the installer. Around here all the dealerships have epoxy coated floors and we have...

So, what did you do today?

I have a Stihl and truthfully it eats spark plugs I usually have to change it every season. I run nothing but high-test w/o ethanol and even add a tiny bit of the marine blue stabilizer. Yes they are picky critters.

    Column Replacement

Honestly I would take apart the gable to insure what is being fastened to it is going into a solid surface. I am also fond of the vinyl post covering available from HD too. I have installed PT posts and used that vinyl sleeve and it looks good and is maintenance free.
