When you say online with primer body valve are you saying the red lever pointing towards the boat or away? If inline is pointing away from the boat, which is what I have been told is the direction it should be facing, then no is the answer. No fuel came out of the fuel supply to the carburetor...

If I prime until the bulb is firm and then flip the valve handle forward I can hear fuel going through the solenoid

Ok I primed it with the bulb and then pulled the top carb fuel line off. Pushed the key in while trying to start and did not see any fuel come out of the line. I have the red valve handle pointed away from the boat.

Ok I’m doing this solo at the moment I will see if I can unhook the fuel lines and see what’s happening when I push the key in

Yes i Yes I am pushing the key in when starting. Is the electric primer valve the solenoid with the red lever? If so I have tried with it in manual and with it engaged (both pointing towards the boat and away from the boat). I ohm tested it with my multimeter and it was within the limits. Not...

Help! 1992 Johnson Tracker 60hp pro series

Ok. Yes. Yes I’m pushing key in. Yes getting good clean fuel to carburetors (when I prime it). Fresh fuel. Flywheel spins well. Not 100% on fuel pump working. I have now gotten it to start as long as I have the prop disengaged and throttle wide open it will start. If I take it back to half...

Yeah I was hoping they would all be the same could the pressure issue be the cause of it not starting?

Help! 1992 Johnson Tracker 60hp pro series

I read that compression may read a little lower on a cold engine as opposed to one that was warmed up but don’t know if there is any truth to that and no way to check because I can’t get it to start. All coil packs tested good and all new plugs as well. Will inspect the plug wires better this...

Ok I know that the trim/tilt still functions both on the motor and at the control with it disconnected but if it goes to a gauge that makes sense.

Help! 1992 Johnson Tracker 60hp pro series

The spark tester I got is garbage but judging by the shocks it seems I’m getting a good spark on the top and bottom cylinders but couldn’t stand in the pocket on the middle one. Compression on top cylinder was 102 middle and bottom were 110. I found this wire issue though and don’t have a wire...

Help! 1992 Johnson Tracker 60hp pro series

Tried that. No luck. I even switched the valve on the fuel solenoid valve to manual and tried that. I ohm checked the solenoid and it appeared to be in the normal operational range. Is there anything I should be able to visibly check when I push the ignition in to make sure the ignition choke is...
