    The no or low water pressure reading is normal, the system runs on high water volume at low pressure. Just make sure there is water coming from the pisser. Are you able to run the motor in a tank or trash can making sure the water level above the pump? It's been awhile since I had my 2 stroke...

    How are the thermostats? Has the main tank oil level changed at all? It should not be topped off all of the time, it should drop enough to see that it dropped before the pump turns on to fill it up from the sub tank.     Could be the motor is over heating which also causes the same alarm and makes the motor go into limp mode.

    They probably assume that one knows you don't use acid flux on this type of job, save that for metal radiators. Also It's easier to use resin core solder then you don't have to worry about applying the flux.

    Look all over the batteries to see if there are any letters or numbers/date burnt into the plastic case, as with tires there may be a date code. Sometimes there's a sticker with the date on it. Depending on where you are many auto parts stores load test batteries too.

    As dingbat said, the batteries need to be load tested. You don't charge a battery and measure the voltage then say they're good. Also waiting to hear the age and size of the batteries. Are they wet cell? If so have you checked the water level?

    First, try to minimize the number of splices. Use butt connectors instead of twisting wires. Slide a piece of heat shrink tubing over the wire. Crimp butt connector then cover with liquid tape and let it dry. Put heat shrink tubing over the butt splice heat it then cover with more liquid tape.

    How was the water pressure before you replaced the impeller? Are you able to run the motor in a tank of water instead of the muffs?

    If something doesn't power up the fuse may be blown. If the fuses aren't labeled turn all of the accessories on then pull one fuse at a time and see what turns off then label it.
