    Do a spark test as suggested. Doesnt sound like its running on all 6 cylinders. Start it up and let it idle. Pull one plug wire off at a time and listen for a change in the rpms. If you pull a wire off and sound doest change thats a dead cylinder. Could be the carb or the coil.

    Bayliners are price point boats. Should be fine for what you are planning to do with it. The quality of products used aren't going to be as nice as some top tier boats but youre not going to pay a top tier price. Its all a trade off.

    Running wires under hull

    Use some liquid dish soap to make pulling the wire easier. Also attach something to the cable you are pulling ( i like weedeater line) incase you have to pull anything else in the future. Then you already have something there to pull it with.

    Those classic makos are tanks and built to last. Maybe check out the classic mako forum's. Alot of knowledge about these old hulls there. Someone can steer you in the right direction.

    Ok so if i were to wire my black/yellow wires(2 of them) comingvfrom my kill switch to both m terminals on ignition switch and the purple wire (from the kill switch) to a ground. Would this not kill the motor when the switch was flipped?
