    ok, bought this graph 2 years ago and have nothing but problems, lowrance replaced the unit once and it works ok except while running boat at cruise or when in deep water. it will hardly show bottom. i have set sensitivity as high as possible. i'm thinking a transducer problem???

    driveway cooling

    just started my searay with twin 3.8L omc's (800 series outdrives) in the driveway on the hose and i was running hot, so i replaced thermostat to no avail, i pulled incoming line off the thermostat and seem to have plenty of incoming water. what gives???? it seems to run a little cooler at hight...

    cavitation

    have a '85 searay 255 amberjack with twin 3.8L OMC's, my problem is that my port drive always cavitates especially when turning. as far a trim, both drives are trimmed all the way down (i have also visually checked this) my starboard drive NEVER cavitates, even on hard turns. any ideas??

    electronic ignition

    just converted my prestolite distributors to electronic ignition on my '85 3.8L omc's. i have made up the shift interuptor circuit, my question is hoe to hook up the wires from the ignitor. black goes to - side of coil and red goes??? to + side of coil?

    have a '85 sea ray with twin omc 3.8L with 800 series lowers. i am thinking of running some Lucas gear lube in them. is there a difference between omc gear lube and others???? my thinking is that lucas has "tackifiers" and will better protect gears and bearings, and lucas will not mix with...

    I own a '85 searay 255 amberjack with twin 3.8L omc stringer drives. problem is that port drive seems to always cavitate while running in swells or turning......port drive NEVER does this. I have checked drive to ensure that the drive is all-the-way down and trimmed properly...it seems to me...
