Hey guys! I took the lower unit off of my 1969 9.5 hp Johnson seahorse and did all of the necessary work but now when I try to put it back on, the shifting rod does not want to go up into the little metal jacket thing with the screw in it. If I push to hard then the shifting rod gets pushed...
