When I got home the V reg.had softened up in the back.

I have done a search online for this # and got nothing...
After adding a rebuilt carb, setting the dwell.
The timming is jumping, maybe 2 deg., from
the setting mark.
Where is the most likley problem?
The chain cover does not have a timming
mark that sticks out, it is just a slash molded into the cover. Anyone familiar w/these.

I've been into a 225 hp OMC for about three mounths now. Removed heads, cleaned jackets, rebuild carb.
The usual. Have the old 350 running quite well.
Holding on a cool 160 deg. Major mildstone8)

'75 OMC. Well it turns out she runs GREAT.
Had to cuss, scream, beg.....but, she runs.
I have cracked themo. housing and ex. man.
The only ones I,ve seen (ebay). have ex. risers.
Mine don't rise they leave the ex. man out the back
and down through...
I've got it narrowed to the "shaft /gear" going through
the upper gearcase.
I believe the way to go is to remove and clean,...correct?
Got a manual comming, but I'm not sure I can wait.
How do I remove this shaft to clean and free it up

I have a '75 El. shift OMC.
The shifter sw inside the binicle is toast.
Is there a new binicle that will work.
Or do I have to find a '75 binicle

Just puchased a '75 mako w/225 OMC, 307 GM v8
Haven't ever run an I/O. Eventually plan a repower.
But....funds prevent that now.
Anyway, whats the chance this baby will run.
Owner says it was running last year.
Not so worried about the motor, its the OD that concerns me...
