i have a johnson seahorse 10hp from i believe 1954 (could be 53 or 55) that bangs every few min in gear. was told the clutch dog is worn down. is this something i can just flip around into reverse or do i need a new one? also how much work would this be to do?
i have a 2003 merc 15hp 4stroke. was leaking gas from top of carb area when primer ball was squeezed. apparently float got stuck and cleaning was done. only 2 months later (running new clean gas only) it did it again. is there anything i can do to prevent this from happening?
