The iboats forum moderators are excited to announce that at this time it appears the iboats forums posting pictures function is working once again. Though we cannot promise for how long, we're hoping for indefinitely.
It seems that the reason that my pump wasn't pumping was that the nipple on the bypass cover was too big and that made it pull too much vacuum and was not able to open the reed valves to pull in fuel. Lesson learned, experience is invaluable.

I was pulled the fuel pump off of a 63 75hp starflite and was wondering if it worked off of pressure or does it work off of vacuum? The pump has 3 nipples, one says fuel in, one says fuel out, and the other one says pressure, so I was wondering. Thanks,
Chris
I just did the pressurized to pump conversion(bypass cover mod). It's not pumping fuel for some reason. I plugged the pressure hole with a vacuum nipple cover, so I'm good there. What I did do is I left the settling bowl filter in the system, is this maybe my problem? I made a flat 1/4" aluminum...

I have an older boat trailer that needs a hub kit. The problem is the spindles are 3/4" with a 1 1/8" lip for the rear seal. I would go with integrated hubs, or a hub kit. Anything for 3/4" seems to be hard to find. Any suggestions on where to get these things?
Thanks,
Chris
Just finished the fuel pump conversion on the'57 18hp(F R's way) and I'm not really happy with the connector I came up with to connect the fuel on the engine(limited choice on a sunday @wally world). Whats a good way to go with this? Pics would be wonderful!!
Thanks,
Chris
On switching the pressurized system to the regular gas tank, I take the check valve out and silicone one of the cylinder grooves. I can then use the original outlet for the pressurized tank? Am I missing anything? Do I need a new gasket usually or is the old serviceable most of the time? And Do...
Did these come with charging system? I just bought this on Ebay, I thought it would be good to power my 1963 Sears 14' aluminum jon boat. It will sit beside the 1954 Minn Kota trolling motor. Should be good. Was $560 too much to pay for a good runner?
Thanks,
Chris
