Seems I have a bad trim pump solenoid. I'm trying to order the right soloneoid. I can't find a part number for a trim pump solenoid or anything related to trim components. I was able to find a part number for the starter solenoid. Are they the same solenoid for all three? One seller Is...

Alpha One Gen 1 - Can't get 6" on shift cable adjustment

I'll never buy anything but oem for boat parts again. I was able to break the bearing lose in a vice but I'll have to change it by next season since grease isn't making its way to the bearing. The coupler was out of round when I installed it. They really screwed me for a lot of time with these...

Alpha One Gen 1 - Can't get 6" on shift cable adjustment

I'm having the same issue. Thing is I've put a new engine and new outdrive in and I've installed each one multiple times through out this project and I'm just done with it. I don't want to take the drive off again. Could I get away with just pulling the tip of the cable just below the sight hole...

    Engine coupler alingment issue.

Any idea why it's slightly longer and closer to the transom? Is the part defective or is the old one compressed or something? This is my first time doing anything on an inboard

0l022871 is the serial. How do you identify it by the serial? I've been wondering that for a while. Replaces Mercruiser Part#: 18643A5 GLM 11532 Sierra 18-2323

    Engine coupler alingment issue.

So I changed the coupler got the engine back in. For some reason the new coupler is about 1/4 in longer then the old one? With the old one I could just fit the tip of my finger between the transom and coupler. now with the new one I can get just the tip of my finger nail between them. It has the...

Ok so the temperature I get. You don't want a race car running much hotter either but the laws kinda get me. I know all about hp rating from the manufacture but say I modify my hull to hold more hp how would I prove that? Is there a way to get a modified hull tested for a new hp rating?

I kinda get it but not sure. So what you mean is you can't just shave heads and throw a stroker kit and a turbo in and expect it to go?
