The iboats forum moderators are excited to announce that at this time it appears the iboats forums posting pictures function is working once again. Though we cannot promise for how long, we're hoping for indefinitely.
Ladies and Gents,
First, I read through the sticky "http://forums.iboats.com/forum/general-boating-outdoors-activities/boat-topics-and-questions-not-engine-topics/650747-for-new-members-needing-help-buying-a-boat-a-buyer-s-checklist"
Just wanted some input on whether or not I this looks like a...
I did not want to hijack the thread from:

But I have a similar problem to the above mentioned.

So I have been combing over the forums for a few days now gathering up all of the knowledge about the subject of replacing a 4.3 Mercruiser with a 4.3 truck engine from S10 or similar. Since there is no sticky yet let me first start out with a request that either part of this thread be made...
Hey Folks,
Just bought a 2002 bayliner with 02 Merc 125 and merc controls. Was wondering if there is a procedure someone has handy for the cable alignments for putting the guts back together inside. Apparently previous owner took it apart to grease it and it never went back together right...
Hey All,
I have encountered an issue with 1988 Bayliner flybridge. The OEM configuration has a single guage in the flying bridge. Is there a way to wire both guages in to work off of a single tank? I have tried to wire in both series and parallel to no avail. The only other option I can...
If I had the option and money:
150 HP single outboard motor
or:
Twin 75 HP outboards.
God the twins look sweet...whats it going to be like on the power and performance end though?
-Thanks

I have been through a bunch of restore projects. All of them refer to cutting out the floor to check the stringers and etc. One thing I am failing to see (or maybe its a no brainer I am missing) is how do I know where to cut without actually messing up the good stuff underneath>?
Thanks

Well folks,
Here it is, The broke beast of a bayliner. The minute I pickd it up I starting doubting my ability to do this massive of a job. I am motivated though and what better way to learn than to dive right in Ehh?
Looks good from afar though...
so starting with my biggest worry...
Hey guys,
Does anyone have a picture of an 88(ish) 15' Bayliner Open Bow Capri? I have been on google and yahoo image search with vague results. If you have one or at least pics I would love to see what one in good condition looks like.
Thanks!

Hello,
I am new to the boating world but am looking forward to getting into a new and vast world of knowledge. I have a simple question as to Marine inboards. With the exception of the obvious components like heat exchanger, exhaust, and bell housings; what is keeping someone from...
All,
I apologize for the repost, After posting in the "Bayliner Boats" forum I realized that there is far more activity in this thread pertaining to my question. Hopefully this is not against the forum TOS.

Hello,
I have idle hands and a decent amount of free time so I have decided to take up restoring a boat vise dumping money into one that is already running. There are always alot of people getting rid of "free" boat hulls so after sorting through them all I found a 1988 Capri 15 footer...
