    battery storage

    I am thinking about storing my 2 batteries in my basement inside of a tupperware container with a tight lid. My concern is my furnace is down there. since the batteries give off fumes I'm concered about the furnace igniter going off and then boom..How about some ideas!!!thanks

    just drain everything?????

    I guy told me when winterizing all he ever does is open all the drain cocks to empty out all of the water. He puts in NO antifreeze at all. Does this sound right?? Says he has never had any problems

    changing a windshield

    1976 searay with a curved plexi glass windshield. This winshield is very flexible.     loose swim platform

    This has got to be a common problem..The screws on our swim platform will no longer hold. I tried the next 2 sizes in screws. Looks like the holes are completely stripped out. Is there a way to refill these holes and drill them out again to be good as new? Anyone have any suggestions??
