I have a 1994 pontoon boat with a 90 hp nissan outboard. The console was removed for upholstery. When reinstalled, the tilt and rpm gauges (seperate gages) do not work. any help out there in how these gauges are supposed to be wired would be greatly appreciated. Also what is the location of...
Does anyone know which models Force, Chrysler ect Lower unit will interchange with a 1996 Force 120 hp Serial # OE169606?
I have been told by one source that nothing but the exact same engine will fit. I find this hard to believe.

I have a 1996 Mercury Force 120 hp outboard. Initial checkout showed charging system putting out 19 - 23 volts. I replaced the voltage regulator, output went to zero. Reinstalled the old regulator still zero. Replaced the stator. Still zero with either regulator. Don't know what else to do...
