I was just given a bow mount motorguide trolling motor. The bow mount has a 36 inch shaft. Does anybody know if that size it too short? What size do you have on your bow? Mine is a 2000 model.

I just picked up a bow mount trolling motor that I would to install on 2000 big fisherman 14. There is no spot in the front of the boat to create a place for the power cords and battery.
