I was curious as to what the maximum horsepower a 275 outdrive can handle. The boat originally came with a 305 (225E, I believe) and has been upgraded to a 350. I do not know any of the specs for the motor other than 5.7 is stamped on the block.

I'm new to this forum and have read much about milky oil in the 275 outdrive. I have the same problem on a 275 as well. I noticed a leak through a hole in the bellows this weekend when I had muffs on the boat and it was running. Milky oil was coming from a small slit on the right side...
