I have tried doing some searches online but the price range seems so broad. Have any of you internet sleuthes out there found the cheapest place to buy a Volvo starter for a 2003 4.3GL?

I am wanting to install the factory tilt/trim assembly onto my long shaft 25hp and I am wondering if it is even worth the money and time, or if anyone has went that route. Basically I would replace the hydraulic-assist ram on my current motor with the tilt/trim assembly from a 40-50hp motor...

Working on the boat for the step-dad. He bought a remanufactured starter because his last reman broke an ear off. It sat for a year before he decided to put that starter in. Enter me.
I install the starter and at first turn of the key the engine is turning over slowly...
