    Hooking up power to trolling motor (motorguide)

    have a 12/24 45 lb TM. I only want to hook up 12 volts (save room) that being said i have a Black - Red - White wires coming from TM would black and red get me my 12 and the white be reserved for hook up to 24 if desired? Any help is good help Thanks in advance

    Motorguide brute 750 12/24

    Quick ? Have the chance to but a brute 750 12/24. Thing is for my boat size I would be only interested in running 12v. I understand not uooking 2 batteries up I won't have any 24 v power but will it effect the proformance of the 12v other that run time. Thanks in advance
