Motor runs good for about 10 min then starts loosing power and will shut completly off. If i wait about 1 min will run good again. Have checked compresion before and right after stops and it is consitant around 150. Have checked fuel and it is good (no water). Thinking something in firing system...
I have aprox. a 1999 40 hp johnson have cleaned carbs and pump but fuel pump stops pumping and holds vacum on it for aprox. 5 to 10 seconds after motor shuts off. Anyone have an idea?
