1990 Mercruiser 4.3.Just put all back together and not getting power to the coil.Was working before tearing down motor,all wires back where they belong.
I went to change the oil in my 1990 4.3 Mercruiser and when I pulled the plug basically clear water came out (allmost a gallon).After the water the oil came out black without water.Oil and water didn't mix,not milky.Where would the water come from to come out like that(unmixed)?
For the winter...
I have a 1990 Alpha 1 that does not go down.The switch when pressed for down puts the drive up(probably reversed wired on cylinoid ?).I had to bleed to get unit down.Does nothing when trying to put down,no noise from pump.Could it be bad cylinoid or limit switch?
