I just purchased an 8hp Mariner outboard off of ebay. I bought it as a winter project as it did not have a lower unit. The problem is that I did not get a year for the engine and it is hard to get the lower unit without the year. The model is "8M", the Code is "6G1S", with the Serial# 028455...
