hi i have a 1971 johson 40 hp outboard and it will start and idle but boggs down when you put in gear and throttle up. It has some power in reverse but very little in forward any ideas?
The Name is Rusty and i just purchased a model 025-3569 Goodyear seabee and i brought it home and it will crank but water pump wont work. wondering where i could get a replacement or have that one rebuilt? also i was wondering what the horsepower was on that model if anyone knew?
