I am trying to replace the thermostat in my 2000 v drive mercruiser 5.7L. I took the housing off but I cant figure out how to get the thermostat out of the housing. Does it just sit in there and its stuck? or is there something that holds it in? any tips on how to get it out? thanks for any help
