I have a yamaha 30 hp which pumps water fine but steams when running fast. On top of the water pump is a tube approx 6" long through which exits the input shaft to the gearbox. I know water is exiting through this tube as there is no seal and water exits through the front of the leg. Is this...
Having problems with yam 30hp 2 stroke pumping great but then stream of water turns to steam and engine semi siezed. Freed up ok when cool but puzzled. Just fitted new impeller .
