    remove lower unit from a merc 98 50 hp 4 stroke

    There are lots of videos on removing the lower unit. but I can't find how to do mine. there is something strange about the shift linkage.

    warning signal 50 hp 4 stroke

    Intermittently the warning goes off today ran an hour no noise while hooking up to the dock it goes off solid. off ignition on ignition no alarm ??? is it an oil or water problem lots of oil in the crank case lots of water flowing from the engine ????
