    1985 70 hp stops after about 15 min

    My friends mid 80's 70 hp runs fine for about 15 min, then quits and has no fire on any cyl. Sounds like the power pack to me. Am I on the right track?

    Can I put a intake manifold from a 1980 85hp on a 1973 engine

    Can I put a 1985 85hp intake on a 1973 115hp engine, and if so do I use a gasket from an 1980 or do I use the 1973 gasket. they have different part numbers, but I'm not sure what the differences are. The purpose of this is so I can convert to a primer instead of choke butterflies.

    can I swap mounting brackets from a 73 115hp and a 80 85 hp?

    I have a really nice 1972 evenrude 115hp that does not have tilt and trim,and I have a 1980 85 hp parts motor that has the PTT inside the bracket. Is it possible, and how much trouble would it be to swap brackets so I can have PTT on my 115?
