They said that about calculators when I was in college. I was forced to use a sliderule in freshman chemistry class.

Right now, if I was still designing( am a retired EE), I could have AI write physical code with 15 minutes of input from me that would basically save me an entire day of coding. I have a Raspberry PI single board computer that I am playing with writing Python code for it. I have a couple...

Will be interesting if Stellantis ever makes money again or if they will go bankrupt.

You better buy it soon since the 2025 is the last Durango with the 5.7....unless they change their mind again LOL.

Seen WAY worse. Just have to take off the front skid plate which is two bolts. I put in a Ronin plug so I don't have to take off the felt underliner.

I had a 3.5 Ecoboost before I bought my 3/4T GMC. WAY easier to work on that a V8. Tons of room. I would still have it but I needed more payload.

The plane I was going to build is obviously experimental and it would have had a Lycoming.

E10...it's the only gas we can buy. Humidity varies but external humidity is a ZERO issue inside a fuel tank. There isn't enough volume even with an empty tank and 100% humidity to create enough condensation to be a problem. Humidity is a myth in regards to E10 fuel.

Yes...even the electronic systems are dual redundant. They just don't use points like the old systems.

For awhile, I was going to build an airplane. I was not going to go the carb and points route. I was going to use fuel injection and a modern electronic ignition.

I own the Rinda Diacom. I have another scanner for my cars.

Scanners are a tool...just like a wrench. If you don't know how to use both, you better not be working on your car. On my Lexus I used to own, my scanner software allowed me to bleed the brakes properly. You put the car into brake bleed mode and it told you to do one wheel after another and it...

I own 3 vehicles with LARGE displays. All dim down(or go to a dark background) automatically when the headlights go on.

I am 67..I am of a certain age. I would never want to go back to cars that don't have the ability to use a scanner.

I would dread going back to a car without a CANBUS. Cars are WAY more easier to diagnose now. Boat engines have CANBUS too. I had a bad miss on my 2017 Cobalt. I kinda shotgunned the repair by replacing the 4 coils. Later bought my Rinda scanner. If I had bought the Rinda scanner first, I would...

In my Rivian, the display turns to a black background...not an issue at night. Jeez there are a lot of "old people" in this thread. Get off my lawn!

    Surge Brake replacement parts

Fortunately, every trailer I have now has discs including my travel trailer. Two of them have EOH. No need for discs if all you go is 15 miles a year.

    Surge Brake replacement parts

My last boat, that I used in salt water and fresh, had brake rotors that were 15 years old when I sold it. Regular metal rotors. Of course I rinsed the rotors after I dunked the trailer in salt. I had some stainless Tiedown disc brakes that I threw in the trash after a year because they warped...
