    Ah ,I dunno 🙂 Honestly I think one of the biggest frustration issues with carbs is peeps believing they have been completely cleaned when they have not and /or not fully understanding how they work.......and peeps that cant resist having a fiddle .🙂🙂

    How to remove pressed prop hubs before recycling

    Chuck em on a fire ....burn the rubber out and you get both the ally prop and the splined (brass?) bush for scrap .🙂

    Yeah I sorta forgot that about the trim tab /anode being there for a reason . So changing a prop to maybe a 4 blade for example may give you a bit of lift similar to trim tab or adjusting outboard trim angle ? I get that more blades gives more "grip" on the water....with accompanying...

    Mine is triple shot , I was worried about breaking it off but once you have locked in your mind how much that would cost you ....surprising how aware of it you become . Id go for the ts ....now . I didnt think about it before buying it but I use the side and down scan all the time while trolling...

    Yep , thats the one I have but mine came with the headwork . Have a look at how the transducer flips up ....it has a sort of ratchet thing around the mounting screw ( you can see it in your pic ) that is a bit naff . If you have it loose enough to flip up easily its not tight enough to hold it...

    Depends 😁 anyone used to doing their own maintenance on a multi cylinder motorbike would probly think they were easy . I have had my 3 cylinder carbed Honda for 8 years now ...not so regular use , and all I have ever done was ballance them and fitted new bowl drain tubes .......so far...

    Heh , when I got my project Tohatsu the prop was so munted I couldnt suss the pitch or dia , I had to go google and then I still had to take a guess as to the correct pitch for it ....just went with the one it listed as the one it was sold with ....works good 🙂
