    i removed lower shift cable and shift shaft like manual said. do i have to remove housing to install new one? cuz i fought with bellows to try to get new cable thru it and im losing.. i read that i should replace all bellows but mine arent worn or leaking so i didnt want to have to take them...

    power trim wont go down

    have 1986 140 mercruiser 4 cyl. alpha one outdrive i just got boat and with help from other on this site got outdrive off just upper gear and lower foot. i cant get outdrive down. it was in trailer mode when i bought it. when i push bow down it only clicks.. nothing happens when i push bow up...
