    I have a stuck shifter,and I removed the low end unit.I removed the shift rod and was expecting to find some corrosion but there was very little. I did notice a slight bend in the shaft,can anyone tell me if this is normal or might this be my problem. My manual dosen't depict it very well ...

    75 6hp Johnson Seahorse

    My problem is the shift arm is stuck in forward.The arm can't be moved to neutral or reverse.The motor runs great and is well maintained. This just happened my last time out with it. Any insight on what happened would be great. Thanks John
