Hey fellow boaters. I am removing and installing new bearings in the lower unit. the text calls for special omc bearing tools that I dont own. Any tricks or tips to do this without the omc tools and without causing damage.

I've got a 1981 235hp evinrude and the wires are pulled out of the temp sending units. Ive searched online for new ones but cant seem to find them. Any suggestions?
